Dyeing

Aurora Specialty Textiles produces pigmented and dyed products for our customers. The two textile dyeing methods used are Continuous Dyeing and Atmospheric Jig Dyeing. These two methods allow Aurora to serve multiple industries by enabling the dyeing of substrates to meet customer requirements for color fastness, light fastness, crock, and other critical properties.

Aurora’s versatile equipment allows the dyeing and the application of multiple finishes or coatings without the need for separate manufacturing steps.

Continuous Dyeing

This method is utilized for light to medium shades and utilizes pigment coloring. We can also use direct dyes to achieve darker shades for cellulose-based substrates on our continuous equipment. Aurora provides consistent side-to-side, as well as face-to-back fabric dyeing appearance. Our continuous textile dyeing is run on pin and clip combination tenter frames that allow us to run woven and non-woven fabrics of various weights.
